Chiko started his way as a wedding photographer in 30 October 1990, when his grandfather, who also use to work in the wedding photography industry opened the first family photography business in 1952, and considered a leader in the field of wedding photography as he demonstrated his uniqueness and abilities not only in the wedding photography itself but also by editing photos and the darkroom techniques and on top of that of course his cheerful personality.
In his time, wedding photography was not saturated as wedding photography is today. Wedding photography in those days was based on knowledge and professionalism only and did not enjoy the advanced technology that photographers use today in the wedding photography industry.
The knowledge and professionalism Chiko’s grandfather past on to his children and grandchildren like a secret of an old family recipe. One of the cornerstones in wedding photography which he gave heavy weight to is that other than the uncompromising professionalism and quality in the wedding photography business the most important thing is that the work will be done with smile and in positive energy, because the wedding photographer is the only supplier who physically present with the couple and family throughout the whole wedding day.
Since he was a child, Chiko used to visit regularly in the family photography shop and learned from his grandfather all the mysteries of photography in general and of wedding photography in specific. He used to spend time with his grandfather who already considered a leader in the field of wedding photographer and learned the darkroom and editing techniques. In addition he learned from his father, who also used to be a leading wedding photographer, the first steps of photos development which was used mostly by wedding photographers and replaced the darkroom. This knowledge enriched Chiko’s abilities and talents in wedding photography knowing that most of the wedding photography doesn’t deal with the Day After the wedding. With time, in addition to the wedding photography. Chiko got involved also in acting photography, fashion and art which have made him from a wedding photographer to an artistic wedding photographer. The thing that made him unique to all the other wedding photographers in the wedding photography field was the spontaneous photography and the ability to be in the right place at the right time and convey a calm and relaxed atmosphere that brings out the best in people for the pictures.
“Because wedding photography is actually the only reminder form the whole wedding day production which stays for generations to come it is highly important that wedding photos will tell a story and not just photos that gives the minimum necessary. Photos should emotion, closeness, love and happiness of the family and the couple in specific and the guests in general.
